PBSI Premium Irrigated Mix #2
PBSI's Premium Irrigated Pasture Mix #2 is a combination of meadow brome, orchardgrass, and diploid and tetraploid perennial ryegrass. Inclusion of mutiple-ploidy (i.e., various number of chromosomes) perennial ryegrass varieties add a salt-tolerant, quickly growing species to the mix. Forage is high quality and palatable. Best production is on well-drained, fertile soils. The mix is adapted to areas ranging from 4,000’ elevation to 8,000’ elevation. This mix is excellent for irrigated hay or pasture.
