Bottlebrush Squirrel Tail is a cool-season, quick establishing, short-lived perennial bunch grass native to the western United States. It grows 1 to 2 feet tall, with a unique panicle head and long awns that resembles a squirrel’s tail. Adapted to a wide variety of environmental conditions and soils. Used for erosion control, as well as on marginal or depleted rangeland.
