Canby Bluegrass

Canby Bluegrass is a widespread small, cool-season, perennial bunch grass native to cooler and/or high-elevation areas of the Western US. It grows 8 to 16 inches tall, densely tufted, with a green-yellowish color. Adapted to all soil textures and most soil types, this versatile native species grows from low-elevation cold deserts to alpine meadows. Behaves as an increaser on most rangelands. Used for forest roads, pastures, and as a low maintenance turf.
