Kentucky Bluegrass
Poa pratensis
Kentucky Bluegrass is a perennial, cool-season, sod forming grass native to Europe. This major turf grass grows 4 to 24 inches tall, with fine leaf blades, and a luxurious emerald to dark blue color. Modern varieties of this sun-loving grass are drought- and cold-tolerant, with moderate wear resistance. While it requires maintenance, the resulting turf is dense, thick, lush, and perfect for bare feet!
