Mountain Brome is a short-lived perennial, cool season, quick establishing tufted bunch grass native to the mountain and intermountain regions of Western North America. It grows 1 to 4 feet tall, with a bunchy habit and fibrous, shallow roots. Used for pasture, forage, hay, roads, ski slopes, mined lands, and burned areas.
