Phleum pratense

Timothy is a cool-season, short-lived perennial, sod forming grass that is native to Eurasia. It grows 2 to 4 feet tall, with light blue-green leaves, and a unique, spike-like seed head. Widely used to grow excellent horse hay. Used for pasture, forage, hay, mountain meadows mixes, ski slopes, roadsides, and mine reclamation.
