Prairie Sandreed is a warm-season, perennial, sod forming grass that is native to much of North America. It grows 2 to 5 feet in height, with pale-green to straw-colored leaves and deep, fibrous roots. It is a valuable species for stabilizing dunes and blowout areas. Used for forage, pasture, hay, grazing, and site stabilization.
