Sandberg Bluegrass is a cool-season, perennial, bunch grass that is native to the Intermountain West. It grows 2 to 4 feet tall, with folded leaf blades and a blue green color. Thrives from coarse, sandy soils to fine, clayey soils under diverse precipitation regimes. Used for forage, pasture, and dryland or irrigated hay.
