Tall Wheatgrass is a cool-season perennial bunch grass that is native to Turkey and Asia Minor. It grows from 4 to 7 feet tall, with wide, bluish-green enrolled leaves. Valuable species on moderately sodic or saline sites. Used for pasture, forage, hay and silage, as well as a wind barrier for erosion control.
